She has been reading comics since she was old enough to pluck them off the rack near the supermarket checkout. **April Mazza** is a Learning Content Specialist at NoveList, where she develops and teaches course curriculum for Learn with NoveList. She previously worked in public, school, and special library settings. As a kid, April and her older brother would fight over who got to read the Sunday comics first, which turned into a lifelong love of art, illustration, comics, and graphic novels. Moderator **Yaika Sabat** is the Manager of Reader Content and Services at NoveList, where she develops strategies for helping readers and trains library staff in the art of recommending books.
