She also works as Digital Selector for the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services OverDrive Consortium, serves on the Board for LibraryReads, and advocates for thoughtful and inclusive readers’ advisory. She presents regularly on collections maintenance, readers’ advisory, and genealogy topics. [**Yaika Sabat**](/novelist/bio/yaika-sabat "Yaika Sabat") is the Manager of Reader Services at NoveList, where she develops strategies for helping readers and trains library staff in the art of recommending books. Before NoveList, she worked in public libraries, and no matter the role, her favorite part of work has always been discussing books. As a lifelong horror fan and member of the Horror Writers Association’s Library Advisory Council and Summer Scares Selection Committee, she works to encourage libraries to embrace the horror genre. **Moderator Rebecca Vnuk** is the Executive Director of LibraryReads. She worked as a public librarian for a decade before becoming the first editor for Collection Management and Library Outreach at *Booklist* magazine.
