Have you ever paused to think about how you learn?

For me, I do my best learning when I'm doing my daily workouts. While many people enjoy music as a backdrop, I often plug into a podcast or listen to articles being read out to me. Listening to audio content rather than reading it myself helps me retain the information better. In fact, I can vividly recall the exact spot I was jogging or the exercise I was doing when I stumbled upon a fascinating concept or had an interesting idea.

Many times, we're so focused on the outcome of learning something new, that we don't take the time to consider our learning process. Think back to the first time you tried to learn a new skill or a recent class you took. How did you absorb all the new information?

Were you eager to jump right into practice, or did you prefer to watch and learn first? Maybe you're someone who loves to note down every detail and highlight important information. Or perhaps you're the type who likes to experiment and figure things out as you go.

Just like each topic or skill might resonate differently for everyone, we all have our own unique way of grasping new knowledge. Recognizing how you best process information not only makes your learning experience more enjoyable, but also helps to make the new knowledge stick. It's like having a roadmap to your brain's favorite shortcuts, helping you understand faster and deeper.

So, are you ready to figure out what kind of learner you are? Check out this quiz and find out:

**A point to note here**: There's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to learning. Everyone's got a bit of each learner inside them. While you may have a dominant preference, it’s best to mix up multiple learning methods that can give you a fuller grasp of concepts. Take these insights as a guide to choose the best way to learn and grow.
