  ## What is NoveList Select?

NoveList Select is a readers’ advisory enrichment service for library catalogs, discovery platforms, mobile apps, and selfcheck kiosks. It delivers reading recommendations right into the catalog, so readers get help at the exact moment they’re looking for something to read. It’s especially valuable for high‑demand collections, busy service desks, and digital‑first patrons who rely on the catalog to make reading decisions on their own.

### What’s included in NoveList Select 

**Recommendations at the point of need**   
When a patron is staring at a long holds list or an empty availability message, Select steps in with meaningful options, without asking them to leave the catalog. Select places guidance exactly where frustration often peaks: inside the catalog record itself. Readers find high‑quality read‑alikes for titles, authors, and series, along with clear series order information and engaging story elements.
