Key Topics
-
|
A central focus of this year’s event is books and acquisition workflows. Sessions will explore how libraries can bring print and e-books together within a more coherent, efficient workflow, supporting informed selection, purchasing, and long-term collection development.
The programme will introduce Mosaic, our evolving book acquisition experience, and show how it builds on the trusted strengths of GOBI and EBSCO eBooks. Discussions will focus on how integrated workflows help libraries make better acquisition decisions while maintaining continuity across collections.
-
|
This session highlights our ongoing investment in database services and content partnerships with publishers and scholarly societies. Participants will learn how these partnerships support authoritative, high-quality collections and simplify access for users, while aligning with long-term library collection strategies.
-
|
Libraries operate within increasingly interconnected system environments. This session explores how platforms and system integration—including interoperability with existing library management systems such as Alma—support acquisition workflows, access management, and collaboration across teams.
-
|
Rather than standalone features, AI and Linked Data are presented as enabling technologies that enhance discovery and strengthen connections between content. This session examines how structured, linked data supports more effective information access while remaining aligned with current library workflows.
