Lauren worked in public libraries for 13 years in two large library systems and six branches before joining the NoveList team in 2021. Most of her library career was in children's services, and storytimes will always hold a special place in her heart. She is passionate about early literacy and instilling a love of learning through reading.
She is currently a Senior Readers' Advisory Librarian in the Reader Content and Services department, where she helps create products and services aimed at readers.
Her favorite book growing up was The Giver by Lois Lowry. Today, you’ll probably find her reading either witty romance, or fantasy/sci-fi with complex, well-developed, or sarcastic characters.
When she's not at work, she enjoys hanging out and hiking with her family, starting crochet projects, and refinishing old furniture.
