Core Collection en Español includes three recommendation levels to help you make informed decisions on which books your library should buy or repurchase.

Essential:
Essential titles include Spanish-language award winners, long-standing popular titles, and newly released titles. Titles categorized as "essential" are perfect for libraries starting a collection or with limited budgets or space.

Recommended:
Recommended titles are great books for a well-rounded Spanish-language collection. Ideally, these titles would be included in all collections, but we understand every community has different needs and is limited by space, budget, and community interests.

Supplemental:
Supplemental titles are great for filling out all areas of your Spanish-language collection, from non-fiction to adult fiction to children’s picture books.
