Meet our instructors
Learn with NoveList instructors are active members of the library profession, participating at every level from serving on ALA committees to volunteering at libraries. Every course is carefully constructed by instructors with extensive library experience to ensure only the best learning outcome for you.
Lauren Campbell is a Senior Readers’ Advisory Librarian at NoveList. She teaches courses on early literacy and how to instill children with a love of reading.
Stephanie Chase is the Founding Principal of Constructive Disruption, the Executive Director of the Libraries of Eastern Oregon, and a current Public Library Association Board of Directors member. She teaches courses on strategic readers' advisory.
Lindsey Dunn is a Senior Readers’ Advisory Librarian at NoveList. She teaches courses on readers' advisory and working with teen and tween readers.
Angela Hursh is the Brand and Communications Director for the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library. Angela is a nationally recognized expert in library marketing. She teaches courses on promoting library collections and services, telling library stories, and library marketing and promotion.
April Mazza is a Learning Content Specialist at NoveList. She teaches courses on providing excellent customer services to readers and understanding challenging genres.
Yaika Sabat is the Manager of Reader Content and Services at NoveList. She teaches courses on working with adult readers and understanding challenging genres.
Duncan Smith was the co-founder of NoveList, now retired. He teaches an advanced course on building long-lasting relationships with readers.
Kaite Stover is the Director of Readers’ Services for the Kansas City Public Library and the co-editor of The Readers’ Advisory Handbook. She teaches courses on strategic readers' advisory.
Martha Yesowitch is the Community Partnerships Manager at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. She teaches courses on community partnerships for libraries.
