NoveList has some exciting updates to help you and your patrons discover even more reading inspiration in 2026! Over the past year, we’ve heard your feedback on our new look, and we’ve used your ideas to make NoveList even better. Here’s what’s new (and a few things you might have already spotted):
More printer-friendly pages
We heard from many users that printing is important to how you do your jobs and serve your patrons. We have added printable pages that are simplified for easier printing: Title, series, author, and audiobook detail pages, as well as award pages and lists.
You told us that not everything on those pages was useful when printing title, series, author, or audiobook information. So, we’ve streamlined the printable pages to include only the details you said matter most.

Choose what to print
Speaking of printing, we have made the printing experience in NoveList more customizable than ever. Many of you are trying to save ink and paper, so we have added the ability for you to decide if you want to include images and descriptions when you print using toggles at the top of your screen (see above image).
Find the right list faster
Our staff librarians love creating Curated Lists to help users find their next great read. You can now filter these collections by audience level, fiction or nonfiction, and by category, such as For fans Of or Trending Now. This will help you find what you need faster.
Librarian-written recommendations first
We hear again and again that what our users love about NoveList is our handwritten read-alike recommendations. NoveList will now be prioritizing these recommendations for titles, authors, and series in our read-alike lists.
We are excited for you to try out these new features and look forward to bringing you more updates in 2026 to help you keep finding reading inspiration in the new year and beyond! If you’d like to let us know what you think, the NoveList product team would love to hear from you at our new weekly product office hours.
