New Zealand's South Island boasts a geography as varied as any on Earth, with mountains, beaches, caves, sinkholes, and forests. The Tasman District Libraries serve the people who live and work in this area.

The system has four locations spread out over 400 km (248 miles). Those four branches connect a population of about 60,000 people with the books and services they need. They do this seven days a week, with just a little more than 40 staffers, who all need adequate training to serve the diverse communities.

That’s why Glennis Coote, Libraries Manager, needed a solution that would allow her to provide her staff ongoing training in readers’ advisory and engagement, library promotion and public outreach, and much more.
