Web accessibility and brand consistency are important to you and to NoveList. We’ve wrapped up changes in LibraryAware to make both possible.
A brief explanation of the changes to your opt-in pages
LibraryAware’s email opt-in pages have been updated to meet web accessibility requirements and to offer our customers more control and flexibility than ever. The new pages are mobile responsive, too, so patrons can sign up for your newsletters on the go.
We also know that you want your email opt-in pages to work with your library’s brand guidelines. The new Page Manager options will enable you to better align the look and feel of your opt-in page with your website, creating a smoother sign-up experience for your patrons.
Here’s who must take action due to the changes
If your library is using the existing standard opt-in page(s), no action is required on your part. As part of this update, the newsletter lists, interest groups, and other settings from your standard opt-in page automatically carried over on April 22, 2026. Your opt-in page can be further tailored for your library’s needs, so you may want to review the page for optional content or design updates.
If your library is using custom opt-in page(s), be aware that they may not be accessible. We encourage you to review and update them to ensure an accessible experience for your patrons.
