Meat Mosaic, a next generation ordering platform that brings discovery, ordering and fulfillment together in one streamlined experience for libraries.

Modern workflows.

Mosaic gives librarians the tools they need to build collections efficiently. A prominent search box, enhanced filters, and consolidated bibliographic records make it easy to find and compare relevant titles. Each record brings together item details and linked purchase options across suppliers, so key information is visible at a glance. Additional tabs provide access to expanded metadata, library activity, order history, summaries, and fulfillment status, helping libraries move from discovery to decision quickly and clearly.

Choice.

Mosaic is built around choice. It partners with leading suppliers to offer a growing range of e-book platforms, publishers and acquisition models. Current support includes individual e-book purchases from EBSCO eBooks, JSTOR, IGI Global, Taylor & Francis, Cambridge University Press, and Bloomsbury, with additional suppliers continuing to roll out. The Purchase options tab allows side-by-side comparison by supplier, user limit, DRM-free availability, price and format. It also clearly indicates whether a title is already owned or in the cart. By linking all related e-book options into a single record, Mosaic helps libraries avoid duplication and save time.

Interoperability.

Mosaic simplifies acquisition through real time pricing, availability, and automated fulfillment. Live API integrations help ensure accuracy from purchase to delivery. Active integrations with major library systems including Alma and FOLIO support EDI invoicing and optimized order workflows that reduce manual work. Expanded ILS support continues to roll out as Mosaic evolves.

Customization.

Mosaic adapts to each library's configuration. Librarians see relevant pricing, availability, and eligibility details specific to their institution. Clear ineligibility messages explain when a title cannot be purchased, reducing confusion. A simplified one step checkout allows users to review pricing, add validated local order details and submit orders confidently. Order templates and configurable cart views support consistent team workflows.

Onboarding.

Getting started is fast and intuitive. Many libraries place orders the same day their account is activated, with minimal setup required. The interface is familiar to teams already purchasing e-books, making the transition smooth. Webinars, documentation, and direct support are available, and early users describe the experience as straightforward and efficient.

When you bring discovery, comparison, ordering and fulfillment into one place, you can make faster, smarter acquisition decisions. Mosaic is built to support today's libraries and evolve with their needs.
