Julie Twomey

So I just want to welcome everyone and thank you for joining us today for our webinar, unlocking the future of library acquisitions, an introductory tour of Mosaic by GOBI Library Solutions.

And my name is Julie Twomey, and I am the marketing manager for EBSCO Books, and I will be moderating the session today.

And so before we begin our presentation, I'd just like to go over a few heist keeping items. We have muted all audio lines, and this is to avoid any feedback or interruption during the presentation.

But feel free to use the chat box to ask questions at any time. We'll either answer them, live during the program, my colleagues on the call now, or we will answer them at the end of the program in our q and a portion.

So this presentation is scheduled for sixty minutes, but we will set aside some time at the end to answer any questions live.

And if we don't have any time to answer your question or if we're not able to answer your question, we will reach out to you after the program via email.

This session is being recorded, and we will send the recording to you via email in the next few days.

So now I'd like to introduce my colleagues that you'll see in today's session. First, you'll hear from Director of Sales for EBSCO Books, Steph Moriarty, and she will review the functionality that is currently available in Mosaic, but she'll also provide a live demonstration along with steps to get started.

And then we also have our Director of Product Management for EBSCO Books, Bethany Pelletier, on the call, and she'll be responding to questions posed in the chat box as well as being available for any questions we may need her to weigh in on. So now I'd like to hand things over to Steph to get us started.

Steph Moriarty

Thank you, Julie. Alright. So welcome, everyone. Thank you for joining us today. Again, I saw some folks, from overseas, so we appreciate because we know it's late there.

So Mosaic is our new book ordering platform. It's taking ECM, EBSCO's collection manager, and GOBI in emerging in to form this new platform.

It's being built on brand new technology and infrastructure, and it is being done in an iterative approach with modern technology.

And so with that, what our goal is with Mosaic is to streamline the workflows, make ordering easier, have a true one stop shop. Because with EBSCO, we have ECM and we have GOBI, and so we want to have one platform for everybody.

As we go through today, it's important to note that Mosaic is currently live and available, but just two libraries, in the United States. We are starting our international development, later in 2025, but we are excited to have, our friends from overseas here to learn more about this for when they are ready.

As to how we got here with Mosaic, we this has been going on for two years and getting built up. We have worked with what we call innovation partners, which is thirty plus customers and publishers and vendors that we worked with to ensure that we were taking the right approach and the right steps.

Back in May of 2024, we brought on fifteen early adopter customers. That was sort of our soft launch beta, and they were able to provide us with feedback before we announced to the larger market back in October.

And with this webinar today, it's sort of our official kickoff, to everyone else. The next slide, Julie.

So before we get into the live demo, what is important to note is we have folks on this call today that either haven't used one of our services before, currently only use ECM, currently only use GOBI, or they may use both. And so as we go through it, keep in mind that Mosaic has just started, and we're going to keep building on top of it. So today, it does look simple.

But what's important to note is that you will have immediate benefits regardless of what you use today. So for ECM, you're going to see we have a persistent cart. We have improved the speed of searches.

Same with GOBI as well. You have instant invoicing, rapid mark records, a broader variety of search results, and detail and clear order history. So keep this in mind as you go through and as you're seeing all the new features that we have.

So, again, Mosaic is, just getting started. So the functionality that we have available now is it is purchasing only or approver only.

We don't currently have any selector roles. So if after this you are interested in using it, just keep that in mind, that it is approvers only.

It's also firm order only. And so that's perpetual purchases, and we currently are configured with EBSCO, JSTOR, IGI Global, and Taylor and Francis.

We have real time pricing and availability, which I'll show you more in the live demo, access to order history, on demand invoicing, rapid mark records, and custom and local order details.

So with that, Julie's going to stop sharing for just a second so I can take over. Can you see my screen, Julie?

Julie Twomey

Yep. We can see it, Steph.

Steph Moriarty

So this is Mosaic. The reason why I didn't show the login process is because me as an EBSCO employee, it's a little bit different. But for you as a customer, the first time that you gain access to Mosaic, you will get a temporary password in an email with instructions on what to do. Your username will be your email address that you give us when you register. And then once you change this one-time temporary password, then you're in.

And once you log in, this is what you'll see.

So just to familiarize with the home page, we have our logo here. And anytime you click that, you will be brought back to this homepage.

We have library activity, which we will, get into in just a few minutes.

Over here, we have our shopping cart and then our basic account information. So if we click on this, this is where you can sign out and see any, profiles that you may have configured.

Our order profiles that we have, think of it as, like a different billing address. And so your profile could have your billing address for your main library, but you, like, may also make purchases for your law library or your business library.

This is where you'll be able to configure. If you are a current GOBI customer, this is effectively replacing the concept of subaccounts.

Coming down to the bottom, we have quick links to, helpful information. So we have a dedicated EBSCO connect page with user guides and step by step tutorials, access to our terms of use, and then you can contact us if you have any, comments or questions, and that goes to our customer service team. Navigating to our search options, if we have this drop down here, we can currently search by keyword title, contributor, publisher, and ISBN.

This will expand over time to include BISAC subject info, Library of Congress subject info, etcetera.

We can search by all words or any words. And I'm going to do a quick search for green energy.

And we talked about, briefly improved speed, and so this is definitely quicker than ECM and GOBI today to bring up results.

And so we have what we call our master level BIB record here.

With our search results, we show a simplified just basic metadata info that you would need to know to make a quick decision. But if we expand on item details, you will see additional metadata available, including any applicable ISBN, the binding. For now, we just have e-books, but we will have print, later on, and then your BISAC subject info.

We can toggle over to the purchase options where you will see the supplier that this book is available from, the access models available, as well as the price.

For this particular title, I've already added it to my cart in a different session. And so you can see here, it's acknowledging to me that I already have this in my cart.

Scrolling down, you'll see that these are all collapsed currently. So I could either open up every single one, but that could become tedious. So scrolling back to the top, we have the option to expand all. So you could default it so that every record opens by default to the item details or the purchase options.

This is just the default for when you view, but you can always toggle back and forth regardless.

If a title is available through multiple suppliers, they will be listed here. So in this case, this book is available from EBSCO and Taylor & Francis.

Additionally, with the ISBN information, you'll see all ISBNs that are associated with this book consolidated into one record. For customers that are used to using GOBI, on some records, you may have to click the alternate editions to see different suppliers and different ISBNs, but we have consolidated everything into one single record for Mosaic.

So I'm going to add a couple of items to my cart. When I did that, I got a confirmation that they went and my, shopping cart increased here.

So we're going to go into our shopping cart. As I had showed previously, this particular account has a bunch of profiles. That's because we're using it for internal demonstration purposes. Most of the grades won't have this many. But what the cart does is it breaks it down by profile.

So up here, you can see that we are defaulting to show all profiles as well as all items. And so if we had any items that had incomplete information, we could look at just those titles.

If there was duplication, we could do those as well. So you can see here when we scroll down, we have my Australia profile. I didn't add anything to these. I had some in the UK, and I had some in the US.

But if I only want to look at what I have in my US profile, it will isolate to just those titles. It will update my order summary to only show these items, And the other items are still going to be there but think of it as like a save for later feature. You can always go back to them, but I could just order this subset of titles if I so choose.

As we're reviewing the titles, you'll see here that I have an exception in my cart. And for these particular warnings, it's telling me that I actually may already have some of these at my institution, and it's suggesting that I check which one of those may be.

And I also, me as a library, I require, order detail information like a PO or a fund code before I order. And so this is telling me you haven't put this information in. You should do that before you place your order.

So this is giving you the general warning. If a price has changed, it's also going to show you here as well, and it will tell you the specific title that has changed, what the previous price was, and what the new price was as well. So we'll clearly spell that out for you.

So coming down to the record in the cart down further, you can see here I have this incomplete, which is indicating to me that I need to add my order info.

It is optional to make this a requirement. So if you are a library that does require a PO and you always want to have that known, that you need to do that, you can opt in. If you don't require it, you don't need to do this. But in this case, we require.

I'm going to add information.

And we're going to save that. So now you can see that it's complete and I could move forward with this item if I chose, but my next one has an incomplete. So I could painstakingly do this one by one, or we have a handy feature where you could update all at the same time.

So we could check this box, change my order details, and apply this at a higher level. And now it has completed all of my items.

Up at the top of the screen, we have seen that it warns me that I may already own one of these books, and here it is. It's telling me that this is already at my institution. And if I click on this little clock, it's going to give me more information about that and show me that this is my invoice for it. This is when I bought it. This is my URL. This is the mark record.

If I'm purchasing a higher access model, I may be okay with this, being in here, and it's just acknowledging you do already have this. But if it's a true duplicate and you don't want it oops.

We could check this book off and remove it from the cart. And now my price is updated and my total count.

One of the most exciting things about Mosaic is the real time pricing and availability.

So you can't see it because it is moving so fast behind the scenes, but it's doing what we call a flicker.

And every minute, essentially, it's checking to see if anything has changed with this title. It has the pricing changed, has the territory eligibility changed, has anything changed. And it's doing that constantly up until the time that you submit the order.

Whatever price and item is shown, once you hit that submit order button, that is going to be locked in and that is going to be your invoice

This significantly decreases the amount of potential canceled orders. So think of times where you have gone into GOBI or ECM, you have purchased a title, you think you're going to get it, it's great, and then you get a cancellation. And it's because it was either not eligible to your library or to your country, and then you have to get a credit, and now you have to source that book elsewhere.

Mosaic is not going to show you anything that you cannot have, and so that is going to prevent that frustration moving forward.

For this demo account, because I can't just buy millions of dollars’ worth of things, the ordering has been disabled for my particular account, but in a real, library account, this would be blue and you would be able to submit the order.

So through the magic of Zoom, we are going to pretend that this order has been submitted. And I'm going to get a couple of different emails pending if I am opted in for it.

Oops. Reverse order. So your first email that you're going to get is an order acknowledgement. So this triggers to you, my order was successful and it has gone through.

The next email that you're going to get is a fulfillment email, and that's going to acknowledge the supplier has fulfilled it and you're going to get your URL with that.

Oops. Didn't work. Yep.

So this summarizes, the date that you ordered it, your ISBNs, and again, your URL that you could access. We also link because all of this information is held within Mosaic, which I'll show you in just a minute.

So this is going to be your fulfillment email, and then you will subsequently get an invoice, which will link to the PDF, or you could go into your Mosaic account and get that. And then in the event you needed a credit, you would also get your credit, and it would show like this in an email as well.

But if you don't opt in for emails or don't want your inbox cluttered up, you can always gain this information in Mosaic itself under this library activity.

So by clicking library activity, we can go to our order activity, and this is going to summarize what you have.

So for this particular book, we summarize here that you purchased this through EBSCO, this is the date you ordered it, your access model, and your ISBN.

But if we expand it, you'll see additional information including the price that you paid, the supplier's product ID. So if you need to search for that on the supplier's portal at all, has your PO information that you enter, the order profile, a direct link to your invoice, your access URL, and your mark record.

And we'll come back to the order activity in just a minute, but we can look at our mark records as well.

And so your MARC records will come in batches. So if you order a single title, it will come as a single title. If you order two titles in an order, it will batch so that you have them all together.

In the event a record is not available, it will indicate that to you. So for this example, we didn't have a mark record, ready, and so we, don't have a download link yet. But if we click on the download link, and this is one of my favorite things from having to troubleshoot MARC records. When you click on it, we actually tell you what is going to be in this file. So we will put right here what the title is and what the ISBN is as well with the download link.

And you could do that individually. So all these two titles, if you were only missing one, you could come in here and just get the one that you need. So it's very transparent in that sense.

Moving over to our invoices, we have the profile. It was ordered under the dates as well as the invoice number, which would match to an email or your order activity.

So by clicking on this URL, it will pop up to your invoice.

And these are what the Mosaic invoices will look like with title level information broken down, including any fund code, PO, location, etcetera.

And then if there was a credit for any reason, your credit would be posted here as well, and it would be exactly the same except with a counterbalance.

So going back over to the order activity, it's great to have the mark records broken down as well as the invoices if that if that's what you need at an order level. But if you were looking for something for just a particular title, you can do all of that within the order activity.

So a while ago, I had ordered a book that I can't remember what I did with that invoice, so I'm going to search just for that.

Here is my order. It confirms to me that it is invoiced. I'm going to view the details, and here it is.

In addition, to this invoice placard, we do real time status. So if an order was, just placed, it's going to say open. If it was fulfilled, it'll change to fulfilled.

If once it gets invoice, it'll change to invoice, and it will do all of that in real time as it's happening.

If for any reason I, did not want to look at my order activity, but I knew that I had this title, and I'm just going to search for it to see what comes up in Mosaic.

Here it is. We note here that it is at our institution.

If I open up the purchase options, it will put a check mark next to the option I already own. So in this case, I own it through EBSCO at the unlimited user model. And if I want my invoice, I could go back to order activity, or we put here quite handy the little library history.

And if we open that, we can view our details, have all that same information we just saw in the order activity tab, and then we can get our invoice from here, our access URL, cataloging record, etcetera.

So it's nice to have options in different places.

One last thing to touch upon is everywhere we have gone on Mosaic, you may have noticed on the side here, there's this give feedback button.

If you are, one of our early users of Mosaic, we would love to hear feedback. As we mentioned, this is an iterative development, so we are releasing things, quite literally every month.

But we want to hear from all of you. A lot of Mosaic has been built with user driven feedback. We're not making things done in, we're not doing things in a vacuum. We are collaborating with everyone. We want to hear from you, and this give feedback button is a great way to do that.

And why it's on every page is if you are using Mosaic and you think of something, oh, it'd be really great if they could build this, click on that give feedback button right when you're having that thought. It'll open up a window that you can fill out information. We just ask for your institution so that we know to follow-up if we have questions, but then just provide your feedback that you have. And our product management team, reviews this on a daily basis.

What this feedback button is not for is any, questions that you may have for your sales rep or for customer service or there's a technical issue going on. We want to hear about that, immediately through our customer service team. But this is more for enhancement requests to submit here.

That is a great tool, and we want to hear from you. We want to see, that feedback.

And then one last thing that, I will show is you'll see here with the shopping cart, we have eleven items here. I'm going to sign out because I'm done using Mosaic for the day.

Fast forward, two weeks have gone by, and I want to come back. And my eleven items stay there. And so that's just to demonstrate, the persistent cart.

Using the shopping cart in this way is beneficial until we come up with folders or lists. But you can have confidence that if you add titles and then leave, they will still be there when you come back.

So with all of that said, I'm going to stop sharing for just a moment. And, Julie, if you could pop back up. Excellent.

Julie Twomey

And you can see my screen okay?

Steph Moriarty

Yes. I can. Thank you. Perfect. Yeah. So that is what Mosaic is today.

But like I said, we have things coming out quite frequently. And so this is to show you what's coming up next. And so next month after Christmas, for the holidays, we are going to be very busy. So we will be releasing ProQuest as a firm ordering partner. We will be, completing Alma order integration in January.

We're going to be doing link to print. So what's going to happen there is you will be browsing in Mosaic, and you'll have an option where you can say that this book is available in print, and it will link you over to GOBI, to go continue the process there. And so while we don't have the full print integration available in Mosaic today, we want to make that start making that connection and linking to that in GOBI is a great way to do that.

Also, in February, we'll be releasing order templates. So if you have to enter the same information every time, you can just click your template and be on your way.

In April, we'll be completing all the invoice integration, and then after that, we'll be doing facets and filters in the search results.

So you may have noticed it was just the search results, but we'll be adding ways to filter on, publication year, publisher, supplier, etcetera. Next slide.

So if this sounds intriguing to you and you want to give it a whirl, here's how you can get started. You can contact your EBSCO or GOBI representative. If you don't have one, you can reach out to us after or scan this QR code, and we'll be able to, contact you after you fill out some information.

And then once your account is set up or you've had the discussion and want to move forward, you'll receive your login instruction, information.

And so with the onboarding process, it's quite simple. If you are a current GOBI customer and you have a preexisting, supplier agreements with our current, suppliers, so if you are already set up with IGI Global and Taylor & Francis, for example, we will automatically bring that over for you. You do not need to set up a new contract to do that.

And so with all of that, the only thing that we require is your tax exemption status just because we need up to date information for that. So have that, certificate, if applicable, prepared to be able to send to us. And then think of who, you may want using Mosaic. Again, it's just the approval rule now, but we'll be asking you for first name, last name, and email.

If you do want to receive any of the order acknowledgment emails, fulfillment invoicing, you can opt in for those as well. And then as a reminder, it's the United States only for now. If you are international and still want to learn more, we are more than happy to speak with you. We will do that. But just know, actually using it, will be a little bit later on.

Julie Twomey

Excellent. Thank you, Steph. Great job.

And I just wanted to speak a little here. You know, as you can see, the Mosaic by joining the Mosaic community, there's going to be numerous workflow benefits. But there's also benefits outside of the workflow that I want to talk about a little bit. And, you know, as a pioneer library, you'll gain access to new features as they are released. And with that comes the opportunity to provide feedback that will shape the future of the program. So as Steph indicated, you'll be able to provide that feedback live in the platform itself. And, again, this helps ensure that we're not only meeting your needs, but we're also meeting the needs of libraries that are like yours.

And lastly, it's a great chance to be involved in the evolution of collection development and book acquisition and be recognized as a leader in the field.

Our teams are committed to building solutions that serve all library types, and we're really hoping that you'll consider adding your voice to the Mosaic community.

And as I've mentioned before, you will receive a follow-up thank you email to this program that will include recording of the session. It will also include some links. For example, you can stay informed in a variety of different ways. One of those ways is by joining EBSCO Connect, and EBSCO Connect is our online portal for customer support, product news, training, resources.

You can also subscribe to one or more of our newsletters and the two that are dedicated to books specifically, our ECM advisor and GOBI 60 second update.

I also encourage you to follow our blog. We've actually recently posted about our key takeaways from a session we presented to at Charleston. And I also encourage you to follow EBSCO on social media. So let me go ahead and pop these links in the chat here for folks. Again, these will come to you via email but just want to put them in the chat in case you're interested in clicking on that now.

And I see that we've had a very active q and a, so I really appreciate everybody's participation in that. We appreciate it. Again, if we are not able to answer your question today, we will follow-up with you. We do give the transcript of the chat. We do have your contact information. So, again, if you do not hear from us during this program, we will be reaching out to you after it.

So, Steph, let's start with a few here. So one that I think is important to address, does it cost anything to get set up with an account with Mosaic?

Steph Moriarty

No. It is free. The only thing you pay is the cost of the book and your taxes, if applicable.

Julie Twomey

Perfect. Here. Let me jump on two. Another that I think is important too. Will user credentials in Mosaic be the same as credentials in GOBI or ECM?

Steph Moriarty

No. But they will be easier. So if you're an ECM customer, you know that it's just a generic username or random, names, but it's going to be your email address. So, hopefully, that helps a little bit in making it easier to remember your username.

Julie Twomey

Perfect. And I know you've mentioned that there's an approver account, but will multiple people be able to access Mosaic from one organization?

Steph Moriarty

Yes. The more, the merrier. So if you have five librarians at your organization that you want to have access to Mosaic, everyone can be there.

Julie Twomey

Perfect. And can libraries order print books at this time?

Steph Moriarty

Not at this time. When we do build out the link to print, we'll help bridge that gap a little bit. Print is obviously in the plan. It's a core function of GOBI. And I think, Bethany, you mentioned in the chat, research is underway for that. So it is forthcoming.

Julie Twomey

Excellent. Thank you. And can a library apply validation lists? And, Bethany, maybe you can answer this one.

Bethany Pelletier

Sure. So, yes, we just sort of released that functionality whereby you can have your customized local order details as Steph, showed. We can also, build out your validation list for all the different, fields that you have. So not only can we help you, like, go be smart functionality, be able to say what items are what fields are required or not required based on your library workflows, but also have, built out the validation lists that are in line with, what you need and require to validate, to ensure that you don't get erroneous orders that make their way downstream as part of their workflow.

Julie Twomey

Perfect. Thank you, Bethany. Appreciate it. And are ILS integrations supported?

Bethany Pelletier

Sure. I can take that one. So we're really excited because right now, that's what we're working on. We are currently underway with, order API order integration and EDI invoice integration.

We are starting with Alma. That work will be done by April-ish, is what we're projecting April, May. And then right fast fall on that, we have FOLIO. We have actually been working, with the teams at FOLIO to kind of get that sort of queued up and understood.

And then after that, of course, there's other ILS systems. And so what we're building is very extensible, so we should be able to sort of get those, up and going pretty quickly.

So it's really exciting that that work is, almost available and coming really soon. So great question.

Julie Twomey

Excellent. And we noticed that, Jeffrey had a request about open order details. Steph or Bethany, is that something we can actually show?

Steph Moriarty

Yeah. I think before it's been fulfilled.

Bethany Pelletier

So I wonder if they mean like the if you mean to the when you just search orders and then sort of expand that out, they can you might have asked the question before you sort of showcase that piece.

The other thing I think I saw on chat was, TOCs and summaries, so we might be able to find a couple records that have those and show that sort of overflow menu. Those might be things that, worthwhile to take a peek at and see if, see what they're looking for.

Steph Moriarty

But to the open order, question, if interpreting it correctly, there is a flag for that to say open. In our demo account, we, build everything, so we can't show that. But there is it would just say open on the record.

Julie, if you want to stop sharing, I can, reshare.

So on the search results, I think my colleague Robin is on here. She calls these the meatballs. So if we click on the meatballs, we can see the table of contents.

And then we can also look at a description of that book.

And then I don't know if it was addressed in the chat, but we are working on, title previewing, DRM free. We're going to have a lot of information, for accessibility, for the EAA that's coming up. So more is going to be added over the next couple of months.

Julie Twomey

Perfect. And it'll just go should we stay in the live? I'll go ahead and reshare my screen here.

Bethany, were there any questions that you thought we should address live that you may have already answered in the chat?

Bethany Pelletier

Yeah. So let me just take a look here just to sort of, just look and see if there was something we want to just discuss. I did see a lot of feedback on sort of the layout of the, the results and maybe a layout that would be preferred to have one sort of view and noted it in chat.

But as part of the initial design effort, we did do have a page that looks like that where all of the information is on one page. I think our initial, you know, we haven't built it out yet, but we have designs for that. So, if that's something that really resonates with you, I'd love to connect with you guys offline, maybe show you those designs, get your feedback, because, yeah, we haven't built it yet, but we have those designs. And we think, if that's something that Sprinkly would help your workflow, we we're all about, making sure we add those items.

Steph Moriarty

Let's see what else.

Bethany Pelletier

So there's a question about a couple questions about holdings. So maybe that's something because I know that's really important for all of you in your workflows.

So currently, when Steph showed the at your institution banner, right, that will show be shown for anything you're going to be ordering through EBSCO or that, you've ordered in Mosaic or that we've loaded your holdings for.

Longer term, we'll be building that out to make sure there's, bidirectional, information from GOBI into Mosaic as well so that sort of the approval plans, all those things you're continuing to sort of do in GOBI, for the moment would also be available in Mosaic, and also any Mosaic activity would be available in GOBI. So that's sort of functionality to come as well as some automated, upload of holdings so that we can connect directly to your ILS and retrieve that information on your behalf so that there aren't, manual file, files being passed back and forth. But currently, that at your institution that displays is for anything that's in Mosaic, that you've ordered via there or that you've, provided a holdings file for, and, of course, EBSCO.

Steph Moriarty

And that will be part of the onboarding is that if you do want to send your holdings file, to upload to Mosaic, that's available today, and we can do that.

Bethany Pelletier

Yeah. And then one thing I'm just excited to share, I see, Stacy, you just put a note about shelf ready cataloging and, physical marketing tech services, tech specs, stuff like that.

So with our customizable order details, we actually have a lot more flexibility than we even had, in legacy GOBI. We're really excited about that. We had heard sort of all the limitations, all the little workarounds over the years. So we've sort of rectified that in our new system, making it very extensible so we can support a lot of that where, certain things drive physical processing, for example, lots of opportunity there for extensibility.

And so you'll see that even more as we, when we, are able to sell print in Mosaic, you know, that will all come to fruition as well.

And I think I said when I was demoing it's a replacement to subaccounts. It's the equivalent to subaccounts is what I should have said. So that all of that concept states that it's still going to be available in Mosaic.

Bethany Pelletier

Yeah. And, hopefully, with less of the complexity in terms of, cumbersomeness, you know, in GOBI with 99 subaccounts. There's so much there, and it's a lot of redundancy. But oftentimes, you know, GOBI will require you to have it separated out because we can't put the two together.

Sometimes you need it separated out, and we can achieve that mosaic. We can have things separated out, but we don't need to build a whole brand-new separate subaccount for that process. But we can utilize the order profiles that Steph showed to sort of help with that. So we're also excited about that as, a big change instead of having all that that complexity because not only is it complex in your searching and ordering, but also in your sort of post ordering workflows where you're trying to look at things that were ordered, your search history, your order history, etcetera.

That can be really complicated with so many sub accounts. So this, we sort of have that flexibility to have it be as complicated or as simple as you need it to be. So lots again, lots of flexibility, built there.

So, Stephanie, I see a question about approval plans be available in Mosaic. Absolutely.

They, one thing I think Steph did say this, it's not like a lift and shift. We're not taking sort of everything exactly like it's an ECM and GOBI and putting into Mosaic. Mosaic is reenvisioned with new technology.

We're taking sort of the things you know and, love best about those systems and improving them, hearing about the shortcomings, improving them. So growth plans will indeed be available. They may look a little bit different and be shaped a little different, but, that sort of automated, delivery of content that matches your research and, library and community needs will absolutely be something we'll be folding in. That's going to come along with the selector workflows, all of that that we are actually envisioning. We have lots of beautiful whiteboards where we've been, modeling all that out. So coming soon.

Excellent. Any other questions? I know there's been a lot of back and forth here, and we will review everything that's been put in the chat to ensure that we have answered everyone. And, again, we will reach out to you if we have not answered your question. Yeah.

Steph Moriarty

And I just to add to that…

Bethany Pelletier

I know I see a lot of, you know, comments about things that you really like that you don't want to lose, things that are super important to you.

So, as Julie said, reach out to us. Feel free to reach out to me directly too with any sort of feedback relative to that, and I can let you know sort of where it is on the road map and also, maybe ask some follow on questions about what it is that you're looking for and why, and that can help us as we sort of, prioritize the order here that we build things out.

Always like to hear directly from you all of, you know, what you need, why, and, and how we can help.

Julie Twomey

And I just put Bethany's email in the chat. I also, above that, put a link to, request more information. If you aren't linked up with a GOBI or an EBSCO representative at this time, please feel free to click the link.

Bethany Pelletier

Just one thing. I just saw Evan's question in it about sort of, separate sub accounts for things and having separate invoices and just to note again and build on what I said earlier. If, like, for today, for example, print and e-books have to be on separate subaccounts. We just it's a GOBI thing.

We cannot put those together. And for some libraries, they don't want them together, but we have to have them separated out. And in the new system, we want Mosaic won't have that requirement. We might want to do it, but it's not a requirement.

So we're not going to have as much of that sort of a bunch of different, sort of subaccounts driving invoicing. We can sort of combine those to simplify. So that's just an example.

Julie Twomey

Excellent. Any other questions?

Okay. Well, let's wrap up. I did provide Bethany's email in the chat. Feel free to reach out to her if something occurs to you after the webinar, or, as you're speaking with your colleagues, we will share a recording of this that you can share with others that will be coming in the next few days. So keep an eye out on your email for that. And we want to thank you for your time. Really appreciate your engagement, and we hope you have a great day.
