Sydney, Australia — November 3, 2025 — EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) today announced a new collaboration with Oxford University Press Australia and New Zealand (OUP ANZ) to expand access to trusted academic resources across the region. Through this joint initiative, six newly curated digital collections from OUP ANZ will be available via the EBSCO platform, giving universities and libraries flexible access to authoritative content that supports teaching, learning, and research.

“We are excited to collaborate with EBSCO to expand access to high-quality educational content,” said Selina Pickard, General Manager at Oxford University Press ANZ. “This joint initiative underscores our commitment to supporting educators and students with innovative, accessible, and locally relevant resources.”

The collaboration will deliver six new digital collections from OUP ANZ through the EBSCO platform, giving institutions campus-wide, 12-month unlimited access. These collections balance internationally recognized scholarship with content tailored for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring that libraries can provide both global perspective and local relevance. By making the resources available within the EBSCO environment, institutions benefit from seamless discovery and integration into existing library systems, enabling students and faculty to incorporate trusted resources directly into their academic workflows.

Jon T. Elwell, Senior Vice President, Books, EBSCO Information Services, said, “EBSCO is proud to collaborate with Oxford University Press to make these collections broadly accessible to institutions across Australia and New Zealand. By combining OUP’s trusted content with EBSCO’s digital platforms, we are ensuring that libraries, educators, and students benefit from both local expertise and global scholarship.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Oxford University Press' distinguished catalogue of Australian and New Zealand textbook titles to the EBSCO eBooks platform,” said Brett Wilson, Vice President of Sales, Oceania, EBSCO Information Services. “This collaboration will give libraries across Oceania access to the latest OUP frontlist in a flexible subscription model.”

The new collections will be available to subscribing institutions in time for Semester 1, 2026, strengthening libraries’ ability to deliver content that advances discovery and academic success.
