SYDNEY — 23 April 2026 — EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) has been selected by the Department of Health, Victoria to support the Clinicians Health Channel (CHC), an online information portal providing healthcare professionals with access to high-quality, evidence-based clinical resources.
Following a competitive tender process, EBSCO will deliver a broad suite of resources, technology solutions, and managed services designed to enhance access to critical clinical information for healthcare professionals across the state. The agreement is scheduled to commence on 1 July 2026, supporting clinicians with seamless access to a wide range of trusted content and tools through an integrated and user-friendly experience.
Brett Wilson, Vice President of Sales, EBSCO Oceania says winning the Clinicians Health Channel (CHC) tender is a landmark outcome for EBSCO and, more importantly, a meaningful opportunity to strengthen equitable access to trusted, evidence-based clinical information for Victorian public healthcare professionals. “This contract recognises the value of a whole-of-solution approach—bringing together secure access and authentication, discovery, clinical decision support, and a managed services model designed to support clinicians consistently across the state.”
As part of the agreement, EBSCO will provide a comprehensive package including EBSCO Discovery Service™, OpenAthens authentication, DynaMed™, CINAHL Ultimate, APA PsycInfo, and a 12-month trial of Dyna AI. The contract also includes a managed services component, featuring a help desk available every day of the year, publisher liaison, licensing and compliance management, and communications and engagement support.
The agreement delivers a comprehensive and scalable range of clinical resources tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals. By combining high-quality clinical content with advanced discovery and access solutions, the CHC platform will support evidence-based decision-making and help improve patient care outcomes across Victoria.
This agreement builds on EBSCO’s strong presence in the Australian healthcare sector and reflects ongoing collaboration with state health organisations to support clinicians with reliable, accessible, and up-to-date information resources.
