Jennifer Reed, MD, MS

Dr. Jennifer Reed, MD, MS is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, a federally funded R01 researcher, and a distinguished pediatric emergency medicine physician at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center with over 20 years of experience. She is known internationally in the field of Pediatric Emergency Medicine for her work focusing on improving sexual and reproductive healthcare for adolescents in pediatric emergency settings, with a particular emphasis on digital health interventions for HIV/STI screening and prevention. Dr. Reed earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1998 and completed her pediatric residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2001. She went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 2005 and subsequently joined the pediatric emergency medicine faculty. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her excellence in research, mentoring and advocacy for women and has led a distinguished career in innovative research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
