We've expanded duplicate alerting in Mosaic to include additional sources of library history. This history is visible in the Mosaic storefront and flagged at the point of purchase, building a more complete picture of library holdings and improving duplicate detection.
Users may access the corresponding print title in GOBI directly from a Mosaic record, facilitating streamlined discovery and purchase until the print edition becomes available for sale within Mosaic. Logged-in users will be directed immediately to the GOBI record, otherwise, they will be prompted to sign in.
Create private or shared templates to apply order details quickly and consistently. Templates support customizable fields and validation lists, helping libraries save time and reduce ordering errors.
Local order details in Mosaic are now customizable to fit your library’s workflow and apply to both individual orders and order templates. Libraries can pick and choose which fields to include, customize field labels, mark fields as required or optional, and apply validation lists. These details are visible in search results, order history, cataloging records, and invoices.
Access eBook URLs as soon as orders are fulfilled, typically within one hour. Mosaic users receive a fulfillment email with a proxied URL and can also retrieve the link directly in the storefront via Library History in search results, the Order Activity screen, and can be configured to be included in the cataloging record. This rapid fulfillment speeds patron discoverability and ensures fast, reliable access across all Mosaic e-book supplier partners.
