The new interlibrary loan (ILL) form is designed to seamlessly integrate with EBSCO’s New UI. This form has several enhanced features:
1. EEM Module: Easily create and manage ILL forms with the new EEM module.
2. Entitlement API Integration: Users will be informed about the availability of a copy through EBSCO full text, SmartLinks+, or Unpaywall before submitting their request.
3. EBSCO SSO Integration: Automatic population of user information with EBSCO Single Sign-On.
4. Multilingual Support: Access the form in all languages supported by EBSCO.
The Publication Finder search box builder is now available in the new search box module in EEM.
Users of Points of View and Read It! on Explora will soon have a new Topic Page experience which highlights related content collections for Points of View Point/Counterpoint articles and Read It! comprehension tests.
Library administrators can now create custom limiters according to field codes. The most popular custom limiters from the Classic UI will be pre-programmed and just need to be turned on
Personalized users can add up to 50 records at a time to a Project of their choice, whether existing or new, directly from the results page
Users can access related records from the full details and viewer screens so that they can easily navigate to content from the same volume of a publication, such as chapters within a book, articles within an issue and Points of View articles and other related content collections.
EBSCO has partnered with Elsevier to provide integrated Times Cited data on EBSCO Discovery Service for customers on the new user interface who are subscribed to the Elsevier Scopus® database. This integration allows librarians to configure Scopus access citation counts and links to the Scopus platform for users to view additional metadata for a given citation result set.
For those institutions that use Full Text Finder, library administrators can make more confident purchase, renewal, and upgrade decisions by leveraging the Collection Assessment tool within Holdings and Link Manager to perform package and title level comparisons of their holdings
The media placard is now available on EBSCO Discovery Service so libraries can highlight visual content from Flipster and CONTENTdm
